The difference between a well-adjusted, successful person and struggling person comes down to the little habits they have accumulated over the years. And while life situations, background and social class play a part in determining the success of a person, the habits that they have all play a crucial role in making them who they are as a person. When experts study the lives and habits of the highly successful people of our times, they found that they have a lot in common in terms of their routine and habits. Here is how their actions, quirks, diets and habits all match up and how they play a role in their achievements.
They wake up early, even on the weekends

The one thing all highly successful people have in common is the habit of waking up early, and consistently, throughout the week. Sleeping in on weekends tends to disturb the Circadian rhythm, and the consistency required to follow a healthy sleeping routine is not achieved. When a person has a disturbed sleeping pattern, it can reflect on the days even when they follow a strict routine and wake up early. The body becomes confused and loses its rhythm, which could lead to loss of important time during the day, and disturb sleeping patterns throughout the week.
They never stop learning

Once we are out of college, a mental switch goes off which hinders us from learning new things. Maybe because the education system has made learning such a chore, but regular people never actively engage themselves in learning new skills if not out of professional or academic obligations. But most highly successful people never stop learning. They are constantly looking for areas for improvement in their skills and qualifications, and have set out a few hours dedicated to reading, reflecting and learning. The ‘five-hour rule’ is one such technique to allocate an hour each day to reading, practicing and reflecting.
They are never negligent of their well-being

Being healthy and functioning well is of utmost importance, if you wish to become someone successful and an expert in your field. Having poor health can be a source of a lot of fatigue, trauma and mental issues in life, driving you away from your goals and motivations. All successful people have proper exercising regimes and a balanced, healthy diet in place to ensure they are making the best out of their body and mind, by keeping it in top shape.
