The good thing, however, is that you can actually remedy the situation.
Here are some ways you can cure a hangover.
1. Sweat it Out
The last thing you’d want to do after waking up with a bad hangover is going for a mile-long jog. But in Russia, this is one of the most popular methods to get rid of a hangover. As an added measure, you can head over to any sauna and sweat it out.
Not only will you feel relaxed, but you’ll also sweat a lot, clearing your body of toxins and impurities. However, excessive sweating can lead to dehydration so be careful not to overdo it.
2. Tiger’s Milk
Don’t worry, you are not actually going to drink tiger’s milk–this is just the name given to this drink by the people of Peru. However, it is important to note that the naming of this drink might not be accurate since the drink itself is made from raw fish. Apparently, fish and lemon are great ingredients to help recover from a hangover quickly.
3. Animal Intestines
Thanks to the people of Turkey, this list is only getting weirder by the minute. A common tradition in Türkiye Cumhuriyeti is to eat animal intestines in hopes of getting rid of a hangover. Luckily, though, you don’t have to eat them raw. The lamb intestines are rolled in curry spices and then shaped into sausages to be grilled. This dish can be commonly found in Istanbul and is said to be a great hangover cure.
