Accumulation of wealth is something that has been part of society ever since the dawn of time. But, it significantly reached new heights, thanks to the capitalist society that you live in now. In today’s world, you can make money and spend it on whatever you like. You can also start major corporations, earn profits, and become a millionaire. You can even invest your money, double your earnings, and become a billionaire. Soon enough, you can join the list of 1% who have the most wealth. You may even have heard of Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk, and that’s probably because they are always in the news about something. Are all people in the 1% list like that? Not really, here are some of the kinds of people you’ll meet in the 1%.
1. The Provider
These people are more focused on leaving their impact and legacy behind rather than getting fame and maximizing their wealth. They are fiscally conservative and find pleasure in providing not just for their families but also in supporting non-profits. You can often find them sitting as a board member for their religious, educational, charitable, or scientific organizations. These people are usually following the footsteps of their parents and grandparents, continuing the support that their family gives to causes that they believe in.
2. The Mogul
These people are the ones that are mostly all about the show. They are charismatic and come with a great set of salesmanship skills. By working in the industry these guys develop thick skins and are not afraid to open up about their bad experiences. That is not the only thing they like to showcase. They are also quick to put on a show of their private cars, boats, and elite club memberships. They are always looking to prove their worth.
3. The Curator
These people are considered to be the black sheep of this community as they are politically more liberal and lean towards being more intellectual. They are less concerned about making money but they care about their status in the intellectual community. Despite lying low when it comes to showing their wealth, they do not shy away from showcasing their power since they are excellent negotiators and often end up turning the tide in their favor. They’d rather invest in fine art than crypto and would want to be remembered for their positive impact on society.
So, what do you think of these people that you’ll find in the 1%?
